100 Books Reading Challenge 2012

This year, I’ve decided to sign up to Book Chick City’s reading challenge to read 100+ books in a year. I love reading, and I read A LOT, so it’ll be good to see if I can manage 100 books in a year. I’ll be trying to review every book I read (in a bit more detail than I have done in the past), and I’ll be making a list on my 100 book challenge page. If you have any suggestions for books I should read, let me know in the comments – I’m always looking for new ideas.

  1. YAY!! Me too. If I start to lack – motivation to read your list!

    1. I’ll be following your list too – I think I’ll be needing motivation when it gets to June/July time and I’ve not managed to get half way through!

  2. Yikes! That’s one book every three and a half days! Stick to short ones, Lord of the Rings etc you should leave until 2013!

Books I’ve enjoyed in 2011 and which you may like are:

    God’s Own Country, Ross Raisin
    The Collector, John Fowles
One Hundred Years of Solitude, Gabriel García Márquez
Firmin: Adventures of a Metropolitan Lowlife, Sam Savage

    1. I know! It didn’t seem like a lot of books until I thought of it like that! Wish I hadn’t started a book that was 600+ pages long now!

I’ll definitely look at those books, I think I’ve been recommended One Hundred Years of Solitude before, so I’ll check that one out first!
